October 2016 – Congratulations to Laura W. Brill, Robert L. Corbin, Bert H. Deixler, Richard B. Kendall, and Barry G. West. Best Lawyers, the oldest and among the most respected peer-review publications in the legal profession, honored these five KBK attorneys by ranking them among Los Angeles’ 2017 “Best Lawyers.” For more than three decades, the publication’s editors said they have surveyed other leading lawyers to determine which lawyers to honor.
This year, the editors honored Ms. Brill for the 10th year in a row for her appellate advocacy. They honored Mr. Corbin for his white-collar criminal defense for the 17th year in a row. The publication recognized Mr. Deixler for the 17th year in a row, this year honoring him in the categories of entertainment and intellectual property law. It also honored Mr. Kendall once again in two categories, bet-the-company and commercial litigation. He’s been honored several times in the past, as has Mr. West, who was recognized for his commercial litigation work.
