August 2025 – Kendall Brill & Kelly LLP is pleased to announce that Charles J. Snyder, who most recently served as Supervisory Deputy Federal Public Defender in the Central District of California, has rejoined the firm as a partner.

Mr. Snyder originally joined KBK as an associate and now returns with over a decade of courtroom and investigative experience, further bolstering the firm’s reputation as one of California’s premier civil litigation and white-collar criminal defense boutiques.

A seasoned first-chair trial lawyer, Mr. Snyder has successfully tried numerous cases to verdict and served as lead or co-lead counsel in some of the Central District’s most significant and high-profile criminal matters. His practice focuses on trials, complex litigation, and criminal defense, including white-collar matters, internal investigations, and civil disputes in federal and state courts.

“Charles is an exceptional lawyer with a rare combination of strategic insight, courtroom skill, and sound judgment,” said Robert Edward Dugdale, KBK Partner and former Chief of the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Los Angeles. “He’s another trial ace joining our deep bench of litigators, and we’re thrilled to welcome him back. His experience and steady courtroom presence make him a tremendous asset to both our team and our clients.”

Mr. Snyder earned his J.D. from UCLA and his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania. He clerked for the Honorable George Wu of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
