October 2025 – Benchmark Litigation, one of the nation’s leading legal publications focused on litigation and dispute resolution, named five Kendall Brill & Kelly LLP (KBK) Partners among its latest annual rankings which serve as “the definitive guide to America’s leading litigation law firms and lawyers.” KBK was also recognized among the nation’s and state’s top firms for its Dispute Resolution expertise, and the firm was recently named as a finalist for the publication’s 2025 “Entertainment Firm of the Year” award.
In this year’s guide, Benchmark recognized KBK Partners Laura W. Brill, Richard B. Kendall, and Janet I. Levine as Litigation Stars. Ms. Brill was honored for her contributions in entertainment law, intellectual property matters, appellate law, and commercial litigation. Mr. Kendall received nods at both the state and national level for his achievements in the fields of entertainment law, securities law, and commercial litigation, while Ms. Levine was recognized for her for many accomplishments in white collar criminal defense.
The publication awarded Partner Patrick J. Somers its Future Star honor for the fourth year in a row, and Partner Nary Kim also secured her fourth consecutive inclusion among the publication’s 40 and Under List.
First published in 2008, Benchmark Litigation is one of the nation’s foremost legal guides. The organization’s annual guide and rankings are informed by “extensive interviews with litigators, dispute-resolution specialists and their clients to identify the leading litigators and firms” and “analysis of the market’s most important cases and firm developments.”
