August 2026 – Benchmark Litigation, which describes itself as “the definitive guide to the world’s leading litigation firms and lawyers,” has again honored Kendall Brill & Kelly LLP (KBK) Partner Nary Kim as a member of its annual 40 & Under List. Now in its eleventh year, Benchmark’s 2026 list honors the “best and brightest litigators across the U.S.” who are age 40 and younger.

The publication has repeatedly recognized Ms. Kim for her expertise and accomplishments in representing major film and television studios, music labels and brands, top-tier law firms, and leading entertainment figures and artists.

Her recent notable victories include securing the early dismissal of a high-profile fraud suit against the University of Southern California arising from the “Varsity Blues” admissions scandal, for which she won Daily Journal’s Top Verdict award; securing back-to-back anti-SLAPP dismissals for Netflix, Condé Nast, and filmmaker Greg Whiteley in lawsuits seeking $30 million that involved the Emmy-winning docuseries “Last Chance U”; and winning a motion to dismiss multiple claims and motion for partial summary judgment on behalf of Paramount Skydance and South Park Studios in an ongoing $500M lawsuit alleging breach of “South Park” licensing agreements.

Over the past year, Ms. Kim has received numerous additional honors including Chambers USA’s 2026 “Up and Coming” ranking in Media & Entertainment Litigation, recognition as a Leading Lawyer in Variety’s 2026 Legal Impact Report, inclusion among Legal 500’s 2026 Next Generation Partners’ list, recognition as a 2026 Entertainment Business Visionary by the Los Angeles Times, the Los Angeles Business Journal’s Leaders of Influence: Minority Attorneys Award and Women of Influence: Attorneys awards, and inclusion in both Lawdragon’s 2026 guide to the 500 Leading Global Entertainment, Sports & Media Lawyers and its 500 X — The Next Generation guide.
