August 2023 — Benchmark Litigation, which describes itself as “the definitive guide to the world’s leading litigation firms and lawyers” has honored Kendall Brill & Kelly LLP Partner Nary Kim as a member of its annual 40 & Under List for the second year in a row. Each year, the publication interviews litigators, dispute resolution specialists and clients to issue a guide that identifies the “best and brightest litigators across the US” that are under 40 years of age.

Ms. Kim’s recognition comes on the heels of several recent notable successes for major clients, including helping secure the early dismissal of a high-profile lawsuit against Paramount Pictures seeking $500 million brought by two former actors in the 1968 film adaptation of “Romeo and Juliet” in May. She also played a leading role in securing the early dismissal of a child pornography case filed against Nirvana and its record label by the person pictured on the album cover of Nirvana’s “Nevermind.”

Ms. Kim is an accomplished litigator who has helped build compelling and convincing cases for a wide range of high-profile clients, including major film and television studios, music labels and brands, top-tier law firms, and leading entertainment figures and artists. In addition to this award, she has received numerous accolades in honor of her achievements, including Law360’s Rising Star Award, Variety’s “Up Next” recognition, and being named to both Lawdragon’s 500 X – The Next Generation list and Benchmark Litigation’s 40 & Under list, respectively. She maintains an active pro bono practice and sits on the Board of Directors for Public Counsel, the nation’s largest provider of pro bono legal services. Ms. Kim also currently serves on the Law360 Media & Entertainment Editorial Advisory Board.
