July 2026 – The Los Angeles Business Journal has named Kendall Brill & Kelly LLP (KBK) Partners Cassie D. Palmer and Charles J. Snyder to its 2026 list of “Leaders of Influence: Litigators and Trial Attorneys.” The annual guide honors “the very best litigators and trial attorneys” in Los Angeles – a “special breed of attorney” who goes “to the proverbial mat to fight for their clients.”
Ms. Palmer, a former senior federal prosecutor and section chief with more than 15 years of litigation experience, was described by the publication as “a trusted advocate for major corporations, institutions, executives, and high-profile individuals.” Authors cited her decade-plus tenure in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California, where she “earned a national reputation for success in landmark corruption, securities-fraud, and civil-rights prosecutions,” and notable representative matters, including serving as lead counsel defending L.A. County in a pending federal civil rights class action.
Mr. Snyder, a former Supervisory Deputy Federal Public Defender, was recognized as a seasoned first-chair trial lawyer who “has served as lead or co-lead counsel in some of the Central District of California’s most significant and well-known recent cases.” His profile also notes a trial record that “includes acquittals in half of his federal criminal trials” and nearly ten years of service as a faculty instructor at the National Institute for Trial Advocacy.
